The couple who own this Edgewater home wanted to build a granny flat for an elderly parent who had moved over from the UK. Like many properties in the area, there simply wasn’t enough room to build a freestanding Granny flat, so an extension to the home was the only option. A neat 1 bedroom granny flat was designed and constructed with a bathroom, kitchenette and main living area. There was also enough room to create a nice outdoor sitting area at the front of the granny flat.
The extension blends seamlessly with the main home.
