Extension – Inglewood
a 100m2 extension was added comprising of, two bedrooms and a large open plan living, meals and kitchen area
Paul & Kristy brought this old turn of the century single storey home in Inglewood a few years ago, with the view of extending it and turning it into a beautiful family home for them and their son.
The scope was to knock down the crumbling garage to the left hand side of the property to make way for a En-suite to the master bedroom. The old kitchen was gutted and the plaster hacked off the wall to expose the bare brick, the room was turned into a family bathroom with bath, shower , toilet and vanity.
The old sleep out at the back of the house was demolished and a 100m2 extension was added comprising of, two bedrooms and a large open plan living, meals and kitchen area. Two sets of oversize bi-fold doors were added which opens out onto the new alfresco and pool area.
Because the roof pitch was so steep, we managed to add a staircase in and make use of the large roof space and add a room in this area which is currently being used as there home office. The new extensions and renovations have brought this house back to life.
